Meet Amanda Muscha your North Dakota International Ambassador 2020

Amanda is a mother of two beautifully talented teenage daughters, Jaydin and Lillian. Not only is she a mom but she also works full time with the West Fargo Public School district as a paraprofessional who supports 3 middle school kids throughout the day and continues to help others at her part time job at River View Chiropractic in Moorhead as one of their massage therapist.
In her spare time, she is the best chaperone for her daughters to get them to all their extracurricular activities. She enjoys watching and supporting her oldest Jaydin with her cheerleading at varsity football and basketball games and her youngest Lillian at her middle school volleyball and basketball games. Amanda has instilled the love for music into both of her daughters. Jaydin is a cellist and Lillian plays the violin. During the summer months Amanda plays on a co ed sand volleyball team through the Fargo Park Districts. She has been on the same team since the summer of 2007 and couldn’t imagine her summers without it.
Amanda decided to participate in the ND International Pageant in January 2020. She wants to be an example for her daughters to show them that you can do anything you put your mind to. Even if that means going out of your comfort zone. She wants to be a positive uplifting role model for her daughters. When she was approached about the pageant, she knew it was the right time for her to make a difference for others. Amanda had never participated in any pageant before and this was a very exciting yet scary role for her to take on. The direction she has chosen for her life over the past 3 years lead her to this place.
As the North Dakota International Ambassador 2020 Amanda will be working closely with local and state organizations to talk about her platform, Love Shouldn’t Hurt. This platform is to help those who are struggling with abusive relationships. Amanda is very passionate about this platform because in her personal life she was in an abusive relationship. She will be the voice for those who are too afraid or unable to speak out about this hard topic.
Amanda knew that this was the right platform for her not only because it was personal to her but also because she is now able to speak out about this topic. She has taken many steps to heal and become strong again. Finding her confidence and learning that she can be loved and is worth being loved has given her the motivation to let others who have been or are in abusive relationships that there is a way out and she is here to support them.
She can’t wait to see what this year will bring. The relationships she will build the legacy she wants to create for the future and the community outreach and volunteerism that she is looking forward to.
She says. “Together we can make a difference. Together we can heal. Together we WILL be the voice.”
